WKU British Open

At the weekend we had 15 fighters travel up to Birmingham for the WKU British Open. The divisions were strong and the standard was very high. A great way to start the year.

We had people competing across points, continuous, full contact, boxing and kick light, so it was a long, non-stop day.

What we’re most proud of is the support within the team. Fighters backing fighters, parents supporting everyone, coaches everywhere they’re needed. It’s real team spirit and it’s something not many teams have.

We always focus more on performances than medals — because when the performances are right, the medals usually follow.

Big thank you to our coaches and everyone who came to support. We genuinely couldn’t do this without you.

If we want to get to the top, it’s about keeping standards high, showing up, and putting the work in.
