Incredible Results for Absolute Martial Arts Across the UK
What a fantastic weekend for the Absolute Martial Arts competition team, with fighters representing our club across two major events in the UK.
Our team competed at The Shobu Challenge in Worksop and The Fight Wear Store Open in Wales, with students travelling from our martial arts schools in Ewell, North Cheam, Carshalton, Caterham and Redhill to test themselves against some of the best competitors in the country.
At Absolute Martial Arts, we don’t chase medals. We focus on performance, improvement and consistency.
When the focus is on performing at your best rather than simply winning, it reduces pressure, removes fear of losing and allows athletes to compete with greater freedom and confidence. Over time, the medals usually follow.
We are incredibly proud of every competitor who stepped onto the mats this weekend.
Success in martial arts isn’t built overnight. It takes persistence, dedication, resilience, faith and countless hours of training. The journey can be challenging, but for those willing to stay consistent, success follows.

Building Champions Through Martial Arts in Surrey
While we’re proud of the medals, we’re even prouder of the character shown by our students.
Competition teaches valuable life skills including confidence, discipline, resilience, focus and sportsmanship. These are the same qualities we work to develop every week at our martial arts classes in Ewell, North Cheam, Carshalton, Caterham and Redhill.
Whether a student competes internationally or simply attends classes to build confidence and fitness, the lessons learned through martial arts last a lifetime.
Thank you to all of our coaches, parents, supporters and families who make these experiences possible.
As always, it takes a village. π
