Absolute Martial Arts Team Enjoys a Successful Weekend in Wales and York
It was another busy and successful weekend for the Absolute Martial Arts competition team, with members travelling to Wales for the Point Fighter Challenge while others headed to York for WKKC England squad training.
Our Team England representatives had a brilliant time in York. The session was led by some excellent coaches and provided valuable preparation for the WKKC World Championships in Spain next month. 🌍
Meanwhile, six members of our competition team travelled to Wales for the Point Fighter Challenge. It was an extremely well-organised event with a fantastic atmosphere and plenty of competitive spirit throughout the day.
Our fighters delivered excellent performances across three disciplines: point fighting, light continuous and kick light. As we always remind our students, the quality of their performances, effort and development matters far more than the trophies—but the results were outstanding:
🥇 8 gold medals
🥈 1 silver medal
🥉 2 bronze medals
That’s 11 medals from just six competitors!
We are incredibly proud of everyone who competed, trained and represented Absolute Martial Arts over the weekend. Their attitude, sportsmanship and commitment were fantastic.
Absolute Martial Arts provides martial arts and kickboxing classes for children, teenagers and adults in Carshalton, Ewell, North Cheam, Caterham and Redhill. Our students can train recreationally, develop confidence and fitness, or progress into point fighting, continuous and kick-light competition.
