⭐️ Northants Open ⭐️

What a weekend at the Northants Open! We had 16 competitors taking part, many of whom are right at the beginning of their tournament journeys.

As always, it was a fantastic event with a brilliant atmosphere and an exceptionally high standard across the mats. The team had an amazing experience from start to finish.

For our experienced competitors, the focus is always on performance. For those newer to competing, the day is about learning how to manage the environment, gaining confidence, and building valuable experience on the mats.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who stepped out to compete. There were some excellent performances, great learning moments, and plenty of important mat time to support ongoing development.

Events like the Northants Open are a key part of the development pathway at Absolute Martial Arts, giving students from our schools in Carshalton, Caterham, North Cheam, Ewell and Redhill the opportunity to compete in a supportive, high-level environment. Taking part in martial arts tournaments across Surrey and the UK helps our students build confidence, resilience and composure under pressure, whether they are stepping onto the mats for the first time or progressing as experienced competitors. These events support our long-term athlete development and our commitment to delivering professional, high-quality martial arts training for children, teens and adults.
